Hello! I’M Tracy!
Welcome. I’m glad you’re here!
Hands down, one of the most prized possessions in my kitchen is my grandma’s iron skillet. Why? Because for nearly 70 years and three generations thousands of meals have been skillfully crafted in this iron skillet. This single tool represents our family’s value of providing wholesome, made-from-scratch meals using real food, fresh milled flour and basic pantry ingredients. In today’s world, you might call it an ingredient-only household. In my world, it’s the way I’ve been cooking my entire life, just like my mom and grandma did for their families.
As a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, I take joy in providing healthy meals from scratch for the people I love most. Please join me in my journey as I share how to cook my family’s recipes (both old and new), our stories, and tips and tricks on how I manage our busy household. Welcome to “Grandma’s Iron Skillet”.
